BOTSWANA EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL – NOTICE TO 2026 BGCSE PROSPECTIVE PRIVATE CANDIDATES (21-04-2026) BGCSE AVAILABLE SYLLABUSES TO REGISTER FOR THE 2026 EXAM SERIES

The Botswana Examinations Council would like to inform the public that the registration of the 2026 BGCSE Private Candidates will start soon and you will be notified in due course. The dates and the fees will be communicated through the BEC website at www.bec.co.bw and other BEC social media platforms. Please be reminded that registration process includes capturing of data into the system and it will only be complete after payment of registration fees.
For the 2026 series, Private Candidates may register for either/or both BGCSE and BSSE syllabuses as well as the borrowed syllabuses (Additional Mathematics and Statistics). The Table below indicates all the syllabuses and syllabus components that are available.
