Since its inception, the Summer Internship Program has hosted over 70 students, an equal gender balance, over 30 nationalities, and US- and non-US-based students from every region of the world. Working with colleagues from over 60 countries in Treasury alone, interns on an individualized rotation learn from senior colleagues in a uniquely diverse workplace.
The Treasury Summer Internship Program is a junior professional training program designed to develop the skills necessary for an exciting and rewarding career in the financial industry. The Program aims to bring exceptional college students with a demonstrated interest in a financial career to support the World Bank’s development mandate. Interns are expected to be in their second to final year in the equivalent of a four-year college degree program.
