Certificate in Health Sciences Foundation (Level 4)
1 YEAR | FULL-TIME | ALL CAMPUSES
NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 20 points in 6 subjects with a minimum F symbol in English.
Mature Age Entry: Applicants must be 23 years or older, with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in health sciences or related fields, and must have obtained at least 10 points in NSSC Ordinary/Higher level.
Certificate for Enrolled Nurse-Midwife/Accoucheur (Level 6)
2 YEARS | FULL-TIME | WINDHOEK & NIVIRENKURU3 KOMBAT 4 WALVIS BAY 5 KATIMA MULILO 6 OUTAPI
NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 27 points in 6 subjects with a minimum D symbol in English.
OR NSSCOH level or equivalent with a minimum of 22 points in 6 subjects with a minimum E symbol in English.
Applicants should have passed any two of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Development Studies.
Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences (Level 6)
2 YEARS | FULL-TIME | WINDHOEK
NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 27 points in 6 subjects with a minimum D symbol in English.
OR NSSCOH or equivalent with a minimum of 23 points in 6 subjects with a minimum E symbol in English.
Applicants should have passed any two of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Development studies.
Mature Age Entry: Applicants must be 23 years or older, have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in related fields, and hold at least 20 points in Grade 12 (NSSCOH), including an E symbol in English.
A recommendation letter from the employer or supervisor is required.
Bachelor of Nursing & Midwifery Science Honours
4 YEARS | FULL-TIME | WINDHOEK & NIVIRENKURU3 KOMBAT 4 WALVIS BAY 5 KATIMA MULILO
NSSC Ordinary/Advanced Subsidiary or equivalent with a minimum of 27 points in 6 subjects, including at least 2 subjects at Advanced Subsidiary level and 4 subjects at Ordinary level (with English Language at a minimum D symbol).
OR NSSCOH or equivalent with a minimum of 25 points in 6 subjects with a minimum D symbol in English.
Applicants should have passed any two of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Development Studies.
Enrolled Nurses/Accoucheurs with a minimum of 2 years working experience, at least 22 points in Grade 12 (NSSCOH), and a minimum E symbol in English may also apply.
Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (Level 8)
1 YEAR | FULL-TIME | WINDHOEK
Student must be in possession of a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Level 7 or 8) or a Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery Science (4 years) Level 7 from any accredited institution.
Registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the Nursing Council of Namibia.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.
Postgraduate Diploma in Community Health Nursing (Level 8)
1 YEAR | FULL-TIME | WINDHOEK
Student must be in possession of a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Level 7 or 8) or a Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery Science (4 years) Level 7 from any accredited institution.
Registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the Nursing Council of Namibia.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.
