Government of Trinidad and Tobago Applications for Special Assessment Arrangements (Special Concessions) resulting from EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ONLY, which adversely affect students’ performance can be submitted for consideration during the period: February 26th – March 26th 2025
Criteria for Emergency Concessions
- Onset of sudden illness (such as recently diagnosed diabetes melitus Type 2, epileptic seizures, sudden bleeding or sudden severe headaches etc.)
- Recent injury (such as broken limbs, sudden eye injury, etc.)
- Bereavement (such as death of immediate family members).
- Trauma/extreme emotional/behavioural distress, not related to any previously mentioned (such as abuse, fire, etc.)
- Chronic Physical Medical Illness (ongoing, diagnosed illness which has been treated over a period of time (such as Guillan-Barre Syndrome, Chron’s disease, autoimmune diseases, epilepsy, heart related diagnoses etc.)
Have these documents ready for upload:
PARENT/GUARDIAN
- Proof of Address (A copy of a utility bill, not more than 6 months old in the name of the person submitting the form. If the bill is not in the person’s name, an authorization letter with a copy of national identification must be submitted. If a utility bill is not available, a bank statement showing their current address could suffice. If none of the above is available, the applicant must provide a sworn affidavit which states their address.
- Proof of Guardianship (Legal proof of guardianship)
- National Identification (1 form – National ID Card, Drivers Permit, Passport)
