2. University of the Witwatersrand (Wits University)
- BSc Property Studies (4-year degree)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Property Development and Management
- MSc in Property Development and Management
3. University of Free State (UFS)
- Master of Land and Property Development Management M.L.P.M. (M Prop)
4. University of Pretoria (Department of Construction Economics) (UP)
- MSc: Real Estate or
- BSc (Hons) Property Studies together with BSc Real Estate
5. University of Johannesburg (UJ)B Com Hons (Property Valuation & Management) together with one of the following:
- B Com Finance
- Advanced Diploma in Real Estate (Full Accreditation)
- Bridging Course in Property Valuation & Management (Refer to the university)
- National Diploma Real Estate – Full Accreditation (qualification discontinued 2012)
6. Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
- National Diploma Real Estate (Property Valuation): Enrolment until 2017 Full Accreditation – discontinued.
- Diploma Real Estate (Full Accreditation) Diploma was offered from 2018 academic year, both contact and distance learning
7. Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT)
National Diploma Real Estate (Property Valuation) This qualification was discontinued at the end of the 2011 academic year.
To qualify as a Professional, the following is required
- Study one of the above accredited Qualifications
- Attendance at the Practical Work school which is compulsory
- Submission of Experiential matrix and POE for assessment by the Registration Committee
- Write the admission examination for either Professional Valuers or Professional Associated Valuers registration
