NYOTA Latest News Today 3rd June 2025 – National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project Implementation Support Mission Update
Earlier today, the Principal Secretary, State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, Mr. Fikirini Jacob, and the Principal Secretary, State Department for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development, Ms. Susan Mangeni, held a joint NYOTA Project Implementation Support Mission meeting at KENCOM.

Key outcomes of the meeting include:
Grants disbursement of KSh 50,000 to be fast-tracked and delivered.
Fast-tracking BDS Onboarding: The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) will expedite the onboarding of Business Development Service (BDS) providers.
Socio-emotional Skills Training: The State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy will fast-track the implementation of socio-emotional skills development services.
Support from Implementing Agencies:
The National Employment Authority (NEA) will support the identification of youth talents and career interests through skills profiling.
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) will implement Component Three of the project, focusing on promoting a savings culture among the youth.
