If yes, this is for you: Kenya TVET Project 2025 by the National Industrial Training Authority, NITA in partnership with Danish Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is here to support you to realize your dream.
Duration:
- Regular programs for form four leavers is for two terms in the institution and 3 months on mandatory Industrial Attachment.
- Skill upgrading program for the workers already working in the industry but lack formal training and certification, is for 3 months in the institution and 3 months on Industrial Attachment. Selection of beneficiaries under this category will be done by the Kenya Building Construction, Timber & Furniture Industries Employees Union.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment for workers with professional experience but lack certificates.

Training Centre: NITA Athi River.
Intake: September 2025.
Certification: National Skills Certificate II (NSC II) and
Government Trade Tests – grade III/II/I.
Industrial Attachment: All trainees will be placed on three-months mandatory Industrial Attachment through the project partnership.
Fees: Tuition & Exams Fees is fully funded.
Target group
- Youth artisans (fundis) between 18 and 35 years, working in the building and construction sites but lack formal college education and certificates.
- Form four leavers with D- and above grade and have interest in Carpentry, Plumbing, Solar and Electrical.
- Ladies are encouraged to apply.
