Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) Visits the Ministry of Environment – Bayelsa State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo , received in audience, leadership of the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES), in his office, earlier today.
Chairperson of the Society, Dr. (Mrs) Dauye Parkinson Markmanuel , who led the team,said their visit was mainly to identify and collaborate with the Bayelsa State Ministry of Environment to chat out possible ways to protect the environment for us to dwell safely.
Dr. Dauye explained that the Nigerian Environmental Society is a professional, non-profit and non- governmental organization committed to the promotion, development and sustainability of the Environment.
Hon. Ololo, who was excited in receiving the team, said his Office is always open to collaborate and partner with any individual, NGOs and Societies in making sure that our environment is protected for is to live in.
The Environment Commissioner expressed that, the Ministry of Environment under his watch is so passionate about protecting the Environment and will be readily available to partner and collaborate with any Organization or Society to cross- Fertilize workable ideas in making the environment a better place.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Clinton Uncle Korubo and directors were also part of the meeting.
