Applications are now open for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2025/2026. This national initiative provides recent Nigerian graduates with one-year paid placements in reputable public and private sector organizations. The programme equips young professionals with practical skills, work experience, and mentorship to prepare them for long-term career success.
By linking talented graduates with employers, NJFP plays a key role in addressing graduate unemployment and supporting Nigeria’s economic growth. Participants gain hands-on experience, professional exposure, and a monthly stipend of ₦150,000, creating a strong foundation for their career development.
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is uniquely positioned to:

Monthly Stipend Payments
A monthly stipend of 150,000 NGN for the entire duration of the Fellowship, ensuring financial support throughout your journey.

Duration
12-month paid work placements available in both private and public sectors, designed to provide valuable hands-on experience and enhance your career prospects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nigerian citizen
- Fresh graduate
- Fresh graduate (bachelor’s degree or HND Certificate) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2022.
- Academic standing
Graduated with at least a Second-Class Lower (2.2) for bachelor’s degree or Upper Credit (> 3.00) for HND Certificate holders. - Age requirement
30 years old or younger. - Employment status
Not currently engaged in any employment. - NYSC status
Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC. - Career commitment
Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field. - Development commitment
Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development. - Professional attitude
Excellent time management and a professional attitude.

Selection Process
- Eligibility criteria for prospective Fellows are developed and available on the ‘Eligibility criteria’ page of this website.
- Prospective Fellows submit applications electronically. Applications submitted through other mediums will not be considered.
- Applications will be open for 3 weeks, with clearly stated start and closing dates.
- Only applicants who meet eligibility criteria will proceed to the next stage.
- Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will undergo computer-based aptitude tests and assessments.
- Applicants who score above 70% will proceed to the next stage and asked to make video submissions.
- An independent committee will review all submissions and produce a long list.
- Long-listed candidates undergo Psychometric tests and assessments before final selection.
- Only applicants who complete the Psychometric Tests stand a chance to be selected into the NJFP Talent Pool as Prequalified Candidates.
- Given the expected high volume of applicants, only successful candidates will be contacted.
- Selection into the NJFP Talent Pool is on a rolling basis.
- Note that selection into the talent pool makes you a Prequalified Candidate not an NJFP
- Fellow and this does not guarantee you a placement. You become an NJFP Fellow when you have been matched with a Host Organization and onboarded into the programme.
