Call for Application – Necsa Learning Academy Coded Welding Skills Programme Opportunities 2025/2027 for South Africans. Necsa Learning Academy would like to invite unemployed youth to apply for the Coded Welding Skills Programme.
Necsa Learning Academy (NLA) is a nationally recognised and accredited Skills Development Provider focused on professional and technical skills development.
Necsa Learning Academy Coded Welding Skills Programme Opportunities 2025/2027 Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) with Maths and Science, or
- N2-6 with 4 subjects and relevant trade theory included, or
- Technical Matric with Maths, Science and relevant trade theory included, or
- NCV Level 3/4 Engineering Certificate with 7 subjects and relevant trade theory included.

In addition to the above minimum requirements candidates must also meet the following requirements:
- 1 year experience in welding
- Technical knowledge.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Appointments to these positions are dependent on successful completion of screening protocols, such as being declared medically fit, security clearance, qualification verifications, and technical assessments.
- Interviews will be conducted to all successful candidates.

Additional Information
- CV’s must be accompanied by a certified copy of identity document, certificates and proof of residence.
- The successful applicant will be appointed on a section 18.2 for a 6 months period.
- The applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years.
- Successful candidates will receive formal and practical training at QCTO accredited SDP that partnering with Necsa.
- Only South Africa citizens will be considered for these opportunities.
- Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only.
- The stipend will be provided.
- No accommodation will be provided.

NB. This opportunity is for individuals who have not participated/funded by NSF in previous programs.
Only applicants from the following 7 provinces will be considered for the Skills Programme:
Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape and North West.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of their contracts. No deviation to the minimum criteria will be accommodated.
