Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) Opens 2025 Registration – The Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL), established by Act of Parliament (Act 1 of 1997) under the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, announces the commencement of its 2025 academic year enrolment period for adult and out- of-school youth education programmes.

Starting January 20, 2025, NAMCOL will offer both Grade 11 (NSSCO) and Grade 12 (NSSCAS) under the new curriculum. Enrolment will remain open until February 5, 2025. The Pre-Entry to Tertiary Education Programme (PETE) applications will close earlier, on January 23, 2025.

NAMCOL 2025 Registration Required Documents

Prospective students must present several key documents during enrolment:

proof of identity (ID card, passport, driver’s license, or birth certificate), original certificates of their highest educational qualification, and original Statement of Results from their most recent examination. Foreign nationals must also provide a valid study permit.

NAMCOL 2025 Registration Fees

Regarding tuition, Grade 11 fees are set at N$340 per subject with a non-refundable registration fee of N$130. The PETE programme structure includes an application fee of N$170, registration fee of N$130, and subject fee of N$450.

NAMCOL has introduced a comprehensive Block Tuition system for 2025, replacing daily classes. These blocks will be conducted during school holidays: Block One from April 14-17, Block Two from June 23 to July 4, and Block Three from September 8-11, 2025. Online classes will complement this system for both Grade 11 and AS levels.

The institution maintains a strong commitment to accessibility. Nationwide enrolment points have been established, and special needs accommodations are readily available, including braille materials for visually impaired learners and wheelchair-accessible facilities.
Students should note that NAMCOL fees do not include national examination registration fees, which fall under the purview of the Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment (DNEA).
