REQUIREMENTS
Grade 11 and Grade 12 revised curriculum:
20 points in 6 subjects, with the following minimum grades.
E symbol in English.
F symbol in Mathematics for CBET trade.
F symbol in Physical Science.
Grade 11 or 12 -revised curriculum with pre- vocational subjects
18 points in 6 subjects. E symbol in English.
F symbol in Mathematics for CBET trades.
D symbol in the pre-vocational subject(s).

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION (ENGINEERING) (CBET)
Become a qualified Electrical Artisan. Features:
Safely install and maintain wiring and lighting systems.
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
Repair and replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand and power tools.

WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION (CBET)
Become a qualified Water Supply and Sanitation Artisan. Features:
Students focus on the treatment of water and the quality thereof. They:
improve water, water sources, supplies, and the environment.
conduct wastewater management and sanitation.
CARPENTRY (CBET)
Become a qualified Carpentry Artisan. Features:
Construct, erect, install, renovate, and repair structures and fixtures that are made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials. They:
cut, shape, and fit timber parts to form structures and fittings.
BRICKLAYING AND PLASTERING (CBET)
Become a qualified Bricklaying and Plastering Artisan. Features:
Instructions on the laying of Bricks.
Pre-cutting of stone concrete and other types of building blocks in mortar.
Wall and floor tiling.
PLUMBING AND PIPEFITTING (CBET)
Become a qualified Plumbing and Pipefitting Artisan. Features:
Applies in all types of sheet metal and substitute materials.
Instructions to install pipes and other apparatuses for bringing in clean water and removing water carrying waste from premises.
