APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION INTO BASIC TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023 THROUGH OSIM-SAS

MINIMUM ADMISSION ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS FOR 2022/2023 ADMISSION CYCLE

| Basic Technician Certificate in Economic Development | 1 year | The minimum entry qualification is four (4) passes (at least D grade) in any subject excluding religious subjects in CSEE. Additionally, the four passes must include a pass in any of the following subjects: Basic Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Engineering Science, Geography, Commerce, or other science-related subjects. |

Invitation to Apply for Admission into Master Degree in Human Resource Management (M.HRM) Programme

The Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy invites applications for admission into the Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resource Management degree programme for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Programme Overview

The M.HRM programme aims to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to produce qualified and competent human resource practitioners prepared for roles in Tanzania and global modern organizations. Specifically, the programme intends to:

• Enable graduates to identify, integrate, and apply knowledge and techniques in management processes.

• Prepare HR professionals competent in applying knowledge, skills, and attitudes in operational areas.

• Empower graduates with expertise in leadership, ethics, entrepreneurship, research, and consultancy.

Mode and Duration

The M.HRM is a regular programme spanning four (4) semesters:

• Two semesters for coursework (class and field).

• Two semesters for dissertation.

A. General Minimum Admission Qualification

Direct Entry Qualification:

1. A candidate must hold at least a Second Class bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in any field from a recognized institution.

2. A candidate with a PASS degree/advanced diploma may be considered upon providing evidence of an examined postgraduate or professional qualification from approved bodies.

3. A candidate with an unclassified degree must have an average credit of B or above.

4. Candidates with degrees/diplomas of unclear classification must have their qualifications clarified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) before admission.
