MUST Generic Undergraduate Students June Release Of End of Semester Results – The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) is pleased to announce the release of examination results for generic undergraduate students for the semester that ran from 12th January, 2025 to 9th May, 2025. These results were approved by the Senate during its meeting held on 4th June, 2025 and are now accessible via the students’ SARIS online portals. Students will only be able to view their results if they have cleared their fees obligations in full.

Supplementary Examinations

You are advised to carefully review your results to identify any modules that require supplementary examinations. Supplementary examinations for both first-year and continuing students will be conducted from Monday, 16th June, 2025 to Friday, 20th June, 2025.

Guidelines for First-Year Students

  • First Semester: All first-year students who failed first-semester modules will be required to write supplementary examinations, regardless of whether they had already attempted them during the previous supplementary window.

  • Second Semester: Students who failed 5 modules or more are not eligible to write supplementary examinations for second semester; they will be required to repeat the failed modules by attending classes again but they will be required to write supplementary examinations for first semester if any. Students who failed 4 or less modules in second semester will be required to write supplementary examinations for those failed modules.

Guidelines for Continuing Students

  • Continuing students who failed 3 modules or less of the modules taken in a semester will be required to write supplementary examinations for the failed modules, regardless of the current Senate recommendation in the SARIS systems.

The timetable for the supplementary examinations will be communicated to students via email.

Appeals Process
