The renewed contracts effective for a period of three years include thirteen (13) teachers and seventy-three (73) teacher assistants whose existing contractual periods have expired.

Speaking on the renewal, Dr. the Honourable Michael Dowlath, Minister of Education, stated “This contract renewal reflects our firm dedication to strengthening early childhood education in Trinidad and Tobago. “Currently, there are one hundred and forty-three (143) operational Government and Goverment-Assisted ECCE Centres nationwide, serving five thousand three hundred and twenty-four (5,324) enrolled students.
