Call for Application – Mmabana Bursary Applications 2025 for South Africans. Mmabana Arts Culture and Sport Foundation hereby grants applicants an opportunity of a bursary within the fields of study in Performing and Visual Arts.
The funding will be allocated qualifying students registered for undergraduate programmes in the Faculty of Arts.
Mmabana Bursary Applications 2025 Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements for consideration:
- South African citizens who reside in the North West Province. Proof of income i.e. 3 months’ pay slips of an applicant, parent or guardian.
- Proven financial need where such exists i.e. an affidavit.
- Applicants must have successfully obtained admission/ acceptance in an accredited South African Institution of learning for the intended qualification.
EXCLUSIONS
Students currently receiving NSFAS support are not eligible to apply.
Please note that the following issues will lead to the non-consideration of the application:
- Failure to satisfy all the requirements
- Failure to submit all the documents
- Â Incomplete and late applications

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit the following supporting and compulsory documents:
- Application form
- Certified copy of a Soth African Identity Document (certified copy no later than 6 months)
- Proof of registration in the Institution of learning
- Course structure or content of studies applied for
- Academic transcripts if you are already in the field of study and you have achieved above 65% pass rate
- Reference letter from the Head of the Faculty if you are not a new student
- Fee structure/ statement
- Banking details of the Institution of learning
- Â Proof of residence
- Student, Parent/Guardian’s proof of income (3 recent pay slips if employed)
- Affidavit where financial need exists
