Ministry of Labour Malawi Releases TEVET Examination Results for December 2024 Series. The Ministry of Labour is pleased to announce the Release of Results for the December 2024 TEVET examination series as follows:

Level 1 Results

Out of 7939 candidates who sat for Level 1 examinations, 6670 candidates passed representing an 84% pass rate. Out of 4855 male candidates who sat for these examinations, 4018 passed representing an 83% pass rate among males. Out of 3084 female candidates who sat for these examinations, 2652 passed representing an 86% pass rate among females.

Level 2 Results

Out of 4561 candidates who sat for Level 2 examinations, 3824 candidates passed representing an 84% pass rate. Out of 3048 male candidates who sat for these examinations, 2465 passed representing an 81% pass rate among males. Out of 1513 female candidates who sat for these examinations, 1359 passed representing an 89% pass rate among females.

Level 3 Results

Out of 67 candidates who sat for Level 3 examinations, 50 candidates passed representing a 75% pass rate. Out of 50 male candidates who sat for these examinations, 37 passed representing a 74% pass rate among males. Out of 17 female candidates who sat for these examinations, 13 candidates passed representing a 76% pass rate among females.

Level 4 Results

Out of the 50 candidates who sat for Level 4 examinations, 16 candidates passed representing a 32% pass rate. Out of the 42 male candidates who sat for these examinations, 13 passed representing a 31% pass rate among males. Out of 8 female candidates who sat for these examinations, 3 passed representing a 38% pass rate among females.

Results have already been dispatched to technical colleges that administered these examinations. Candidates are requested to enquire about results through their respective colleges only. Receiving of queries regarding these results shall close on 23rd May 2025. No query shall be received beyond this date.

Candidates who have not passed in these examinations are encouraged to retake the failed papers in the forthcoming July 2025 examination series. Candidates are not allowed to proceed in taking a higher level examination before passing the lower level examination.
