Medical Exams Begin for Uganda 402 Recruited Prison Warders and Wardresses – Check List– You will recal that the Uganda Prison service opened its portal for the recruitment of warders and wardresses on replacement basis. Qualififcations needed for the recruitment was that all applicants must be: –
1) Uganda Citizens aged 18-30 years (Age must be supported by
National Identity Card).
2) In possession of an O-level certificate with at least 4 credits (B
or C) including one in English and a pass (D) in Mathematics.
Note: The B,C and D apply only to those under the New
Lower Secondary Curriculum.(University graduates and Diploma holders should NOT apply)
3) Physically fit.
4) Of good conduct with no criminal record.
The Commissioner General of Prisons wishes to inform all candidates as per the list attached below who did interviews, both written and oral for the post of Recruit Warders and Wardresses that they should report to the following Prisons Regional Health Facilities nearest to them for medical examination.
Important to note is that the medical examination exercise will commence on Tuesday 10th June 2025 and end on Friday 13th June 2025. starting at 0900 Hours on each day.
