MCM Pre-Internship Examinations for Intern Medical Practioners Trained Outside Malawi. The Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act of 1987 established the Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) with the objective to protect patients and the public and to guide the Medical, Dental, Para-medical and Allied Health Professions.
In alignment with its mandate, the MCM is pleased to announce that the pre-internship examinations (Theory and Practical) for Intern Medical Practitioners trained outside the country are scheduled as follows:
Venue: Lilongwe (specific venue details will be communicated directly to candidates)
Dates: 13th and 14th March, 2025
Time: 9.00 am
Eligible candidates interested in sitting for the examinations are requested to confirm their participation with the MCM, submit all required documents, and make payments by 14th February 2025. Candidates should familiarize themselves with the MCM Pre-Internship Examination Policy.
