Call for Application – MANSTOPA Local Municipality Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) 2025 Work Opportunity for South Africans. Mantsopa Local Municipality hereby invites applications from prospective candidates within the jurisdiction of Mantsopa Local Municipality to apply for forty (40) positions the under- mentioned Expanded Public Works Programme for duration of twelve (12) months, commencing from 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026.
EPWP is a poverty alleviation programme between the National Government and the Mantsopa Local Municipality that offers temporary work opportunities to the unemployed.
MANSTOPA Local Municipality Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) 2025 Requirements:
- Minimum qualification; Grade 10 Certificate.
- Must be physically fit.
- Recent Certified copy of identity documents.
- The applicant should not have participated in the Municipal EPWP and CWP.
Knowledge and Skills: - Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work outdoors, sunny and cloudy conditions while using tools.
Job Purpose:
- To render general waste collection, cleaning, litter picking, municipal roads maintenance and any other community activities identified by the employer.
- General maintenance and cleaning of equipment’s.
Duration: 12 months fixed-term contract
Daily rate: (Payable on the last day of the month) R 136 per day
Number of people to be appointed: forty (40)
