A. TRAINING PROGRAMMES
1) Diploma in Community Development 2 years (including a three month field placement per academic year)
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
or its equivalent with at least four (4) credits including English and Mathematics
OR
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
plus Certificate in Integrated Social Protection /
Certificate in Nutrition and Home Management
obtained from Magomero Community Development College
OR
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
plus working experience as a Community Development Assistant (CDA) in District Councils
2) Diploma in Community Development 1 year (including a three month field placement)
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)plus Certificate in Community Development obtained from Magomero Community Development College
3) Diploma in Social Work2 years (including a three month field placement per academic year)
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
or its equivalent with at least four (4) credits including English and Mathematics

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)or its equivalent with at least three (3) credits including English and a pass in Mathematics Certificate in Social Work1 year (including a three month field placement) Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with at least three (3) credits including English and a pass in Mathematics
9) Certificate in Early Childhood Development 1 year (including a three month field placement) Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with at least three (3) credits including English
10) Certificate in Nutrition and Home Management1 year (including a three month field placement) Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with a credit in English, a strong pass in Mathematicsand a credit in any of the following science subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, Biology, Agriculture and Home Economics
B. FEES STRUCTURE
i.TUITION: K50, 000.00 per semester for all programmes.
ii.EXAMINATIONS : K150, 000 per semester for all programmes.
iii.PRACTICAL : K400, 000.00 per semester for all programmes.
Note:
• All Weekend programmes will be delivered on non – residential basis.
• Fees is subject to annual review.
• Weekend programmes will be delivered at two (2) centres namelyMagomero Community Development College campus in Chiradzulu and Social Rehabilitation Centre in Lilongwe.
C. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
i.APPLICATION FEE
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of K15, 000.00.

ii.APPLICATION FORMS
Candidates must apply by completing and submitting their application forms.Application forms can be obtained from the following places: Magomero Community Development College campus in Chiradzulu, Liwonde Community Development raining Centre in Balaka, Social Rehabilitation Centre in Lilongwe, National Centre for Literacy and Adult Education, Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare Headquarters, and all District Community Development / District Social Welfare Offices across the country.
