OPEN, DISTANCE AND E-LEARNING (ODEL) GENERIC AND MATURE ENTRY SELECTION – COHORT 18
LUANAR List of Successful Candidates Open Distance & E-Learning (ODEL) Generic and Mature Entry 2024/25 – The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has released names of successful candidates to pursue various programmes offered through Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODEL) for both Generic (year 1) and Mature entry (year 2 & 3) for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The opening date is 27th January 2025. Candidates are expected to attend a two-week orientation and facilitation session that will take place at Bunda campus. Candidates are advised to arrange their own transport to the orientation venue, in addition to food and accommodation during the orientation period.
Tuition fee is at MK550,000 per year or MK275,000 per semester for Degree and Diploma programmes, which must be paid through the following National Bank Account: LUANAR ODL FEES, 1002868683, Lilongwe Gateway Service Center.
Candidates are advised to use their registration number on the deposit slip when paying fees, as indicated in the admission letter.
Candidates will only be registered after paying the tuition fees in full and presenting an original bank deposit slip bearing the candidate’s name and registration number during the registration process. In addition to the tuition fees, candidates are expected to deposit K1,000 per semester to the fees account for student union fees.
All candidates will receive admission letters outlining all the details and requirements pertaining to their programme. Candidates are advised to read and fully understand the contents of these letters before committing to joining the university.
