Call for Application – LUANAR – BUNDA And NRC Campus Economic Fee Paying Intake 2025-2026 Academic Year. The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) Bunda and NRC Campus is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its economic fee paying programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Interested applicants should have a Malawi School Certificate of Education or any equivalent O-Level qualification with six credit passes. The specific program entry requirements are presented as follows:

1. Bachelor Of Veterinary Medicine MSCE or IGCSE ‘O’ level certificate with six strong
credits including English, and a minimum of 3 in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

2. Bachelor Of Science In Agricultural Engineering (Honours)
MSCE or IGCSE ‘O’ level certificate with six credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, plus any three science subjects such as Geography, Geometric Drawing and General Science.

3. Bachelor Of Science In Environmental Engineering (Honours)
MSCE or IGCSE ‘O’ level certificate with six credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, plus any three science subjects such as Geography, Geometric Drawing and General Science.

4. Bachelor Of Science In Irrigation Engineering (Honours)
MSCE or IGCSE ‘O’ level certificate with six credits including English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, plus any three science subjects such as Geography, Geometric Drawing and General Science.

21. Bachelor of Science in Textile and Fashion Design
MSCE or IGSCE ‘O’ level certificate or its equivalent with at least six credit passes including English, Mathematics and any other subject.

2. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

a. Additional requirements for admission

Candidates must meet the specific minimum entry requirement for each Faculty/ programme as outlined above.

b. International Students

International students are admitted using the same criteria for Malawian candidates. Successful international candidates are required to submit police clearance reports from their countries of origin and pay USD100 processing fee for a study permit, during their registration at LUANAR

c. Tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic year

All applicants are strictly required to deposit a non-refundable application fee of K10,000.00 for Malawian and US30.00 for international applicants to the following bank account:

A complete Application Package must include:

i. Scanned copies of original diplomas/certificates/academic transcripts which have been indicated on the application. These must be duly certified by a Commissioner of Oaths as true copies of the originals.

ii. Proof of payment of application fee deposit slip bearing the name of the applicant and the amount of application fee paid.

iii. Proof of English Language proficiency for international candidates whose first language is not English.
