Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Application 2025 Now open- The Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) under the Ministry of Defence invites interested candidates to join the Lesotho Military to fill vacancies. Applicants must have successfully passed the LGCSE or have at least four (04) subjects passed in the said qualification.

Lesotho Defence Force Application 2025 Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following:

• Be a Mosotho with supporting documents.
• Have attained the age of birth between 18 and 28 years as on 01 October 2025 (those who were born between 30 September 1997 and 01 October 2007)
• Be in good physical and mental health.
• They should not have any criminal convictions or pending cases in court or membership in criminal organizations.
• They should not have any religious beliefs that may prevent them from performing their military duties.

LDF 2025 Recruitment: Application Process, Venues, and Key Requirements

The forms will be available and filled on the same day of the interviews which is 31st May 2025. The examination venues will be as follows:

• (Maseru – Makoanyane Primary School.
• ( Berea- Lioli High School (iii) Thaba-Tseka- T.T.I.
• Leribe- Masenate High School.
• Quthing – Holy Trinity High School (vi) Qacha’s Nek- Makhaola High School.
• Mafeteng- St. Gerard Primary School (viii) Botha-Bothe- BB Camp Primary School.
• Mokhotlong- Seeiso High School
• Mohale’s Hoek- Mohale’s Hoek High School

Applicants are expected to bring the following for filling the forms:

• Passport size photo.
• Certified copies of LGCSE certificates. (iii) Certified copies of Lesotho Passport, National
• Identity Card, or Birth Certificate in good standing.
• Receipt of evaluation results for persons who have obtained other qualifications abroad, of equivalent value to LGCSE for those whose qualifications have not been converted.

NB: Applicants are not expected to attend the examination centres wearing political party or Boot Camp attire.
