Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) 2025 BECE And BRAICE Hybrid Computer Based Examination (CBE) And Paper Format. The Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) is pleased to inform stakeholders that preparations for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the Basic Arabic and Islamic Certificate Examination (BAICE) in Hybrid Computer-Based Examination (CBT) format are at an advanced stage.
Following a successful nomination and assessment of schools, KSSQAA now requests the submission of candidates’ names from selected and nearby schools for participation in the maiden Hybrid CBT edition, which runs from 26th May to 2nd June 2025, with a mock session on 10th May 2025 to enhance candidates’ readiness. Only candidates who opted for the CBT format will be eligible to participate in the CBT mock examination.
Key Notes for Schools and Parents:
1. Eligibility: Candidates from both BECE and BAICE streams are eligible to participate in the Hybrid CBT.
2. No Extra Charges: There shall be no additional cost for candidates opting for the CBT format.
3. Same Certification: CBT candidates will receive the same certificate as those writing the traditional paper-based exam – no need to sit for both formats.
4. Candidate Transport: Participants are to select the nearest approved CBT center and arrange their own transportation for the 6-day exam period and mock session. The designated School Examination Officer is required to be present at the chosen exams center.
5. Mock Session: An optional mock CBT will be held on 10th May 2025 to ensure candidates are familiar with the exam platform.
6. Stakeholder Support: School heads and parents are strongly encouraged to support and motivate students to be part of this innovative digital assessment system. The future of education is digital, and early adaptation is vital.
