Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambians that meet the minimum requirements outlined here below to apply for the KCM Scholastic Excellence Programme for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
Eligibility
Applicants should be:
- Zambian with Green National Registration Card (NRC).
- School leavers admitted to any Zambian public university or college to undertake programmes related to mining, geology, ICT and environmental studies at Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma level.
- School leavers who completed Grade 12 in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
- 26 years old or below by March, 2025.
- Must be from KCM areas of operation, that is, Chingola, Chililabombwe, Kitwe, and Shibuyunji Districts.
Method of Application
Applicants must submit the following:
- An application letter responding to the advertisement.
- A photocopy of the 2024/2025 academic year admission letter.
- A photocopy of Grade 12 statement of results or certificate.
- A photocopy of the candidate’s NRC.
- A photocopy of the candidate’s parent’s/guardian’s NRC.
- One (01) recent passport size photo of the candidate with their name written at the back.
- An application form bought from any NATSAVE Bank branch.
- A clear copy of the receipt from NATSAVE Bank.
- A recommendation letter from the school within the districts of KCM operations confirming the applicant’s residential address and attendance at the stated school.
- Â Must meet the vulnerability criteria for the Social Welfare Department in the district they reside in and a vulnerability status report must be obtained.
