KMTC Earns three-year Re-certification from KEBS

In todays latest KTMC News -KMTC Earns three-year Re-certification from KEBS. The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is delighted to announce its re-certification on the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) for another three years.

The College is in its 15th year of certification, a period within which it has reaped the benefits of implementing a Quality Management System (QMS).

This milestone reaffirms KMTC’s commitment to delivering top-quality healthcare training and services.

Speaking about the achievement, KMTC CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch expressed gratitude to KEBS, noting that the re-certification demonstrates the College’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in healthcare education.
“It is through such dedication that we ensure our graduates meet the demands of the healthcare sector,” he said.

The re-certification process involved rigorous evaluations of KMTC’s systems and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, and specifically the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
KEBS awarded KMTC the certification after confirming its ability to consistently deliver quality training, promote student success, meet and exceed customer needs and expectations, and uphold high professional standards, amongst other quality requirements.

“This achievement motivates us to keep improving and raising the bar in healthcare training and overall service delivery to all stakeholders,” Dr. Oluoch said.

“We are committed to making KMTC a center of excellence in producing skilled health professionals for Kenya and beyond,” he added.
KEBS certification is vital in building trust among KMTC’s stakeholders, including students, partners, and the healthcare industry.

It ensures that the College continues to offer programs that meet the needs of the healthcare sector while adhering to quality and ethical practices.

The re-certification comes as KMTC prepares to celebrate its centenary since its establishment in 1927, marking nearly 100 years of excellence in healthcare education.
