This guide will explain how you can check Your NSFAF 2025 Application Status, application revalidation,resubmission, approval and final award letter. The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) wishes to inform you that the 2025 application period for financial assistance officially closed on 31 March 2025 and they received aver 41 000 applications.
Currently, NSFAF is in the process of finalizing the validation of applications. In due course, they will communicate the award list and issue provisional award letters to successful applicants.
We urge all applicants to be patient and regularly check their application status through the NSFAF portal for updates and further instructions.
How to Check 2025 NSFAF Status
Know your application status……….
Validation 1:
- At this stage, our officers check the completeness of the students application.
- If applicant does not meet requirements, he/she is then rejected and given a reason thereof.
- If application is incomplete, our officers sends it back to applicant with the message of the pending documents to be uploaded.
- If applicant meets requirements, the application is sent to validation 2.
Validation 2:
- At this stage, our officers carry out a quality check of the applications from validation 1.
- If anthing is found to be incorrect, your application is rejected and given a reason thereof.
- If application is incomplete, your application is sent back for applicant to upload the correct/missing documentation.
- If correct, the application is forwarded to the application approval stage. (No action is required from students here).
Application Re-Validation:
At this stage, no action from the student is required, the staff are re-checking the documents re- submitted by the student.
Re-submission:
At this stage, The applicant has submitted either a document that is not clear or not certified. We therefore request the applicant to submit a pending document or a certified or clear document (a message will be send on your student portal indicating the action to be taken by the applicant.)
Application Approval:
At this stage, you are issued with a provisional award letter and requested to upload your proof of registration on your portal.
- After proof of registration validation, a contract is sent to your portal, for you to:
- Download your contract
- Initial each page
- Sign
- Scan and
- re-upload signed contract.
Final Award Letter:
After contract validation, a formal Final Award letter is issued to you for submission to your institution of higher learning.
