How to Apply for Kazi Mtaani Recruitment 2025 ( Application link) –

The Government of Kenya is reintroducing the Kazi Mtaani Program under Climate Resilience Service Program, starting Tuesday, 3rd June 2025. This initiative targets youth aged 18–35 years, and applications will be submitted through an online portal.
The program will be implemented under the supervision of KeRRA and KURA engineers, in collaboration with NGAO officers.

The key areas of focus include:

  • Road maintenance and repair.

  • Tree planting, seedling production, and seedbed preparation, in partnership with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS).

Key Guidelines:

  • Gender Parity (50:50 Rule):
    Equal opportunities will be given to male and female youth, ensuring gender balance in recruitment.

  • 30% Disability Inclusion:
    30% of positions will be reserved for persons with disabilities. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and will receive priority consideration.

  • Eligibility:
    Only one applicant per household is allowed.
    Former and ex-NYS recruits will be prioritized for supervisor positions.

  • Cohort Rotation & Engagement:
    Recruits will work in two cohorts, each for 10 consecutive weekdays (Monday–Friday).
    During the off-period, youth will participate in sessions on national values, patriotism, and personal growth.

  • Payment Schedule:
    Wages will be paid after every 10-day shift via M-Pesa.

    • Workers: KES 500 per day

    • Supervisors: KES 580 per day
      Recruits are advised to avoid Fuliza or overdraft services for smooth transactions.

The recruitment will be village-based. All Assistant Chiefs and Nyumba Kumi leaders are directed to disseminate this information at the village level to ensure no eligible youth misses the opportunity.
