In todays latest HESLB News – HESLB Awards TZS 623.2 million to NM-AIST SAMIA Scholarship Beneficiaries. A total of 80 postgraduate students at the Nelson Mandela Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) who have been admitted to science and innovation programmes have been allocated grants worth TZS 623.2 million through the ‘Samia Scholarship’.
Students who applied for these opportunities are advised to check their information through their designated accounts (SIPA).
In addition, the students concerned will be required to register on the digital payment system (DiDiS) through HESLB Officers who will coordinate the exercise at NM-AIST starting January 22, 2025.
This is the first time that the Government through the Higher Education Student Loans Board is offering ‘Samia Scholarship’ to Science students admitted at the Master’s Degree level.
With this notice, all students who applied for ‘Samia Scholarship’ opportunities at the Master’s Degree level are hereby informed that the grant allocation exercise for the year 2024/2025 has come to an end.
