In todays latest HELSB News- HELSB attends UNZA 54th Graduation Ceremony. The University of Zambia (UNZA) yesterday officially opened Day 1 of its 54th Graduation Ceremony under the theme:
Empowering Minds, Shaping the Future: Advancing Knowledge for a Resilient and Sustainable Tomorrow.”
The event was officiated by Hon. Sheal Mulyata, Lusaka Province Minister, who represented His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema as Guest of Honour.

In her keynote address, Hon. Mulyata delivered an inspiring message from the President, urging graduates to become critical thinkers, innovators, and entrepreneurs committed to shaping a resilient and sustainable Zambia. She emphasized the importance of strengthening academia-industry linkages to ensure graduates become valuable contributors to national development.
The ceremony also acknowledged the continued support of the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB), which has played a crucial role in empowering students through financial assistance. HELSB was represented by Mr. Clyde H. Siamachoka, Deputy Director Human Capital and Administration.

Degrees conferred today included Doctoral (PhD), Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees, celebrating the achievements of over 5,000 graduates.
