Call for Applications: FAWE/Mastercard Phase II TVET Bursary 2026 Applications Open for STEM Programs in Zimbabwe. The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is offering bursaries to marginalized young women and men in Zimbabwe. The Second Chance Pathways for Increased Access to Tertiary Education Programme Phase II aims to expand access to STEM education at selected Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions. Through FAWE Zimbabwe, 200 bursaries are available, with 80% reserved for female applicants and 20% for male applicants. The initiative targets participants facing the highest social and economic barriers, including people with disabilities and refugees, ensuring equitable access to education.
These bursaries support 2–3-year STEM programmes across TVET institutions in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Kwekwe Polytechnics, and Belvedere Technical Teachers College.
The programme will prioritise participants facing the highest social and economic barriers, with 5-15% of them being people with disability and refugees.
