The Chairman of Bayelsa State Environmental Sanitation Authority, Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, carried out an on-the- spot assessment to some designated spots across Yenagoa Metropolis to get first hand information about if Sweepers and Supervisors are doing their work effectively at the various designated areas in Yenagoa, the State Capital.

The Environmental Boss said it’s not business as usual, as it’s operation keep Bayelsa clean and green, that roads sparkling clean is his core mandate.
Hon. Timothy pleaded with them to support him and work together for efficiency and effective service delivery, and that if there’s any complains they should feel free to approach him.

He also pleaded with business owners to also help and clean their environment whenever they are done with their business for the day.
Places visited were; Alamieyeseigha Road (Hospital Road), Dr. Lambert Eradiri Road, and Sani Abacha Expressway.
