Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences Training Opportunities for March 2025 Intake

Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences is under the proprietorship of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia. It exists to provide training of Health professionals within Christian Principles and Values.

The College invites applicants to pursue the following programmes: University Certificate in Midwifery and Community Midwifery Assistant.

1. UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE IN MIDWIFERY (1 YEAR)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
a. Candidates should possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six credits including the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science or physics or chemistry plus any other two subjects.
b. A holder of Diploma in Nursing or Degree in General Nursing

2. COMMUNITY MIDWIFERY ASSISTANT (18 MONTHS)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

a. The candidate should be between 20- 45 Years
b. The candidate should provide evidence of having passed Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with a credit pass in English and Biology and a pass in either Physical Science or Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics

Applicants meeting the above requirements should download application form from www.ecohs.ac.mw and fill the form.

Applicants must also deposit a MK15,000.00 non-refundable application processing fee to the following bank details:

The programmes will commence on 24th March, 2024.
Applicants should make sure that they have a reliable and stable source of school fees because the program does not have scholarships available at the College.
