Call for Application – Egyptian Government Scholarship Scheme 2025/2026 for Zambia Students. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambian nationals that meet the minimum requirements outlined here below to contest for Fifteen (15) scholarships under the Egyptian Government Scholarship Scheme for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
Available are undergraduate courses in the following fields of study: General Medicine, Political Science and Economics, Commerce, Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Veterinary Medicine, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Economics.
Applicants should:
- Be a Zambian citizen with a Green National Registration Card (NRC).
- Have a Birth Certificate.
- Have a Zambian Passport valid for at least One (1) year.
- Be School Leavers who completed Grade 12 in 2023 and 2024 Have Grades 1-3 in English, Mathematics and subjects relevant to the intended field of study.
- Have Pure Sciences if applying for General Medicine and all Engineering programmes;
- Must not be older than 19 years of age by December, 2025.

CONDITIONS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
Candidates should meet own cost towards: (i) Expenses to and from the Airport; (ii) Any short fall not adequately covered by the scholarship.
DURATION
Study period ranges from four (04) years to six (06) depending on the programme to be pursued
Method of Application – Egyptian Government Scholarship Scheme 2025/2026 for Zambia Students
Applicants should submit:
- A typed application letter responding to the advert, clearly stating the field of study desired, age, mobile phone number and email address for easy communication; Curriculum Vitae, Certified Photocopies of Educational Certificates, Transcript/Statement of results certified by ECZ, Certified NRC, certified photocopy of applicant’s birth certificate, two (2) colour passport size photos and colour photocopy of pages 2 and 3 of applicant’s passport;
- A study plan or synopsis of summarized details of the preferred course and how the intended course of study will enhance one’s contribution to Zambia’s development (200 words for undergraduates)
NOTE: That Successful, candidates will be required to pay a $100 fee for online application to the central administration for Foreign Students Affairs – Ministry of Education, EGYPT.
It is a requirement by the host country that all nominated candidates undergo comprehensive medical examinations including the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis A and B, Tuberculosis (TB) and pregnancy tests for females.
Nominated candidates must note that last-minute withdraw will attract serious sanctions from HELSB which may include being blacklisted.
