Important Notice: Updates on CUT Applications and South Africa’s Central Applications
.CUT will not accept late or walk-in applications for the 2025 academic year. Application statuses will be shared from 14 January 2025.
Unsuccessful applicants can register for the Central Application Clearing House (CACH) from 27 January 2025. CACH helps connect applicants to opportunities at universities, TVET colleges, and SETA learnerships.
1. No submission of Final Grade 12 results required
Applicants are reminded that there is no need to submit copies of their final Grade 12 results as part of the application process.
2. Application status updates
All application statuses will be communicated starting from 14 January 2025. Please monitor your e-mail and the official CUT application portal for updates.
3. No late or walk-in applications
The Central University of Technology will not accept late applications or walk-in applications for the 2025 academic year.
4. Central Application Clearing House (CACH)
For unsuccessful or rejected applicants, the Central Application Clearing House (CACH) offers a support and referral service.
CACH sign-up dates: The service will open on 27 January 2025, five days after the release of NSC results.
Purpose: CACH assists applicants by referring them to career development opportunities and, where possible, helps them access spaces still available within public universities, TVET colleges, or SETA learnerships.
