Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Application 2026 for Zambians

Call for Application – Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Application 2026 for Zambians is open for the following opportunities –

  1. Community Projects

  3. Public Secondary Boarding Bursary

  4. Empowerment Grant

Application Procedure

  • Collect application forms for free  Ward Development Committees WDC, Council/ any public institution

  • Fill in the forms correctly

  • Attach all required supporting documents.

  • Submit to your WDC representative

COMMUNITY PROJECTS APPLICATION

  • Council advertise invitations for projects proposals.

  • Fill in application form Appendix B in clear handwriting.

  • You and other community members submit application form to Ward Development Committee WDC.

  • Applications must show Urgency and alignment with development plans.

EMPOWERMENT GRANTS APPLICATION

Cooperatives, Clubs and Organized Groups shall apply for grants to the WDC

  • Fill in Grant application form

  • Attach Valid certificate of registration.

  • Copy of Green NRCs of group members

  • Viable business proposal.

  • Recommendation letter from Civic, Religious and Traditional Leaders

  • Minutes of endorsement meeting

  • Proof of bank account

  • Maximum amount qualified for is K 40,000.00 one – off grant.

SECONDARY BOARDING BURSARY APPLICATION

Eligible application shall submit completed application form Appendix G to WDC

  • Attach acceptance Letter from a public school.

  • Proof of residence in the constituency.

  • Green NRC/birth certificate.

  • Parents/ Guardians’ copy of NRC.

  • Proof of vulnerability.

  • Children with special needs will be prioritized

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT BURSARY APPLICATION

Eligible applicants shall submit completed application form Appendix I to WDC

  • Attach acceptance letter from TEVETA accredited institution

  • Proof of residence in the constituency.

  • Copy of NRC.

  • Proof of vulnerability.

  • Must be aged between 16 and 35 years.

  • Where applicable, applicant must have full grade 7, 9 and 12 certificate.
    Note: School drop outs, those never been to school or persons with disability will be prioritized.
