MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION TO HOST THE CLASS OF 2024 (TVET) GRADUATION CEREMONY
The Ministry of Higher Education is pleased to announce the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2024, celebrating the achievements of 1,102 graduates from Brigades and Certificate-offering Technical Colleges around the country.
The ceremony will take place on 20th February 2025, at BA ISAGO University in Gaborone, starting at 07:00hrs.
This event honors the hard work, commitment, and perseverance of these graduates, whose success represents not only their individual growth but also the growing strength of Botswana’s education system.
As Botswana faces the challenge of youth unemployment, the Ministry is focused on creating a Transformative Higher Education Ecosystem by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship to provide greater opportunities for graduates.
The TVET program plays a vital role in this effort by equipping youth with the necessary skills to ensure that they are prepared to contribute to the nation’s socio and economic development.
The Assistant Minister of Higher Education, Honorable Justin Hunyepa will deliver the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of vocational education in shaping a brighter future for both the graduates and the nation.
We invite the media, educators, stakeholders, and the public to join us in celebrating the Class of 2024 and the continued growth of TVET in Botswana.
