Botswana College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) Online Application 2025/2026 Academic Year. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following programmes
offered in Botswana College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) for the academic year 2025/26. Programmes advertised will commence in July 2025.
Available Programmes
- DIPLOMA IN BUILDING AND CIVIL ENGINEERING
- DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING
- DIPLOMA IN GEOMATICS
- DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
- DIPLOMA IN WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates with a minimum of 28 points in BGCSE or equivalent qualification should satisfy the following criterion:
OPTION 1: grade D or better in English, grade C or better in Mathematics and Double Science Award in BGCSE or equivalent.
OPTION 2: grade D or better in English, grade C or better in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Science in BGCSE or equivalent.
OPTION 3: 26 Points BGCSE + National Craft Certificate / equivalent relevant certificate.
The duration of each programme is 24 Months

How to Apply – Botswana College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) Online Application 2025/2026 Academic Year
Applicant should complete the application form and attach the following:
- Certified copies of educational certificates where possible and Certified Copy of Omang or Passport for non-citizens.
- At least one reference / profile and statement with records of all achievements from previous school / rehabilitation or special unit attended.
- Applicants with special needs should provide a Valid Assessment Report either from
- GOVERNMENT or PRIVATE REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST qualifying a candidate as having Mild Disability.
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION: An ONLINE application may be completed and submitted ONLINE using this thread.
- Applicants must be aged 16 years and above.
- Applicants from disadvantaged groups and those with special needs are encouraged to apply.
- Failure to disclose accurate information will result in the candidate being disqualified and their admission revoked.
- Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide proof of qualification evaluation by BQA.
- MEETING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION INTO THE COLLEGE.
