BECA COLOMBIA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2025 FOR ZAMBIA NATIONALS – The BECA Colombia Scholarship Programme is a programme designed to give an opportunity to foreign citizens to strengthen their academic formation through culture and technology, creating and consolidation social fabrics that allow deepening interactions between foreigners, national citizens, Higher Education Institutions, cooperation partners, and other allies.
The scholarships are for Zambian national who wish to pursue Master’s degree programmes in Colombia in accordance with the Academic Offer Catalogue 2025-2.
Applicants should:
• Open to Zambian nationals who hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and wish to pursue a Master’s degree
• Most have a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 or its equivalent for the undergraduate degree Must have full Grade 12 School Certificate/GCE
• Must have admission to at least one to three graduate programmes listed in the Academic Offer Catalogue 2025-2 (see list in online application link below
• Most have good physical and mental health certified by a Government licensed general physician.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience
• Applicants must be below 50 years of age
• Covers full tuition fees up to 24 months for a Master’s programme.
• Covers Health/medical insurance for the period of study as stipulated in the letter of acceptance in accordance with the curriculum of the on-site programme in Colombia and is restricted to only the scholarship recipient
• Scholarship recipients to receive One-time grant for the processing and issuance of Courtesy Visa and Foreign Identification Card
• Monthly living allowance.

METHOD OF APPLICATION SUBMISSION TO HELSB:
Applicants should submit:
• Typed Application Letter: Typed application letter responding to the advert, clearly stating the field of study desired, age and mobile phone number for easy communication.
• Curriculum Vitae certified true copy of applicants birth certificates: (Grade 12 Results/Certificates certified by ECZ)
• Certified True Copy of Applicant’s Birth Certificate
• Two (02) Passport size photos
• Colour photocopy of pages 2 and 3 of applicant’s passport
• A study plan or synopsis of mma: zed details of the preferred course and how the intended course of study will enhance one’s contribution to the Zambia’s development 250 words for Diploma applicants) . Application fee of K100 should be deposited at any NATSAVE Branch. Applicants to submit a clear copy of the deposit slip for the application fee from NATSAVE
