SASSETA Funded Office of the Chief Justice Internship Programme 2025–2027 for South Africans

The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) has announced its 2025 to 2027 Internship Programme, offering young South African graduates the chance to gain practical experience within the country’s judicial system. The programme aims to develop skilled professionals who will contribute to efficient court administration, sound governance, and effective public service delivery. Through this 24-month internship, the OCJ provides structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to the workings of South Africa’s judiciary.

Applicants must be unemployed graduates who have not previously participated in any internship programme. Only South African citizens are eligible to apply. The initiative reflects the OCJ’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment, employment equity, and inclusion, with preference given to persons with disabilities. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7 700 and will be placed in various courts and administrative offices across the country, including Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape, and the Free State.

This opportunity offers more than work experience; it serves as an entry point into the justice sector for graduates in fields such as Law, Public Administration, Office Management, and Governance.
