The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) is recruiting for entry-level Police Trainees x200 Vacancies and invites applications from all races and genders.

Job purpose:
The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) is recruiting for entry-level Police Trainees and invites applications from all races and genders, as well as from young, energetic, intelligent, physically and mentally fit individuals dedicated to serving the City of Tshwane by pursuing a career in policing for enlistment in the Metro Policing Training Programme.
Selection criteria:
Grade 12 qualification (documentary proof required)
Valid driving license for manual transmission vehicles (must pass departmental driving test)
No criminal record or pending cases (fingerprints will be taken at applicant’s cost)
Not listed on sexual/child offenders register or dismissed for government misconduct
South African citizenship and Tshwane residency (proof required)
Age 18-35 years
Medical fitness certificate for strenuous exercise
Must pass physical fitness evaluation
Must pass psychometric assessment
English proficiency (assessment required)
Not declared incompetent to possess firearm (Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000)
No visible tattoos when in uniform
Willing to sign TMPD code of conduct
