Ministry of Education Trinidad And Tobago Begins Processing Payments for School Supplies and Book Grant. The Ministry of Education advises the public that it is currently processing payments under the 2025 School Supplies and Book Grant for Students of Government and Government-Assisted Primary and Secondary Schools. The Ministry is currently working closely with the Ministry of Finance to secure the required financial releases to facilitate the commencement of disbursements.
The initiative aims to distribute $20 million in $1,000 Book Grants to 20,000 eligible students,supporting families with the cost of essential school supplies and learning materials.
Priority for the Book Grant will be given to applicants in the following categories: individuals
receiving public assistance, unemployed persons, and persons with disabilities. Applicants are kindly reminded that they will be contacted directly via email regarding the status of their application and details of their approval.
This initiative forms part of the Government’s continued commitment to ensuring equitable access to educational resources.

_national priority, and we remain focused on delivering tangible assistance that eases the financial burden on parents and guardians as they prepare for the new academic year.”
