Call for Application –Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) Undergraduate GRZ Student Loans 2025/2026 At Chalimbana University.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambians that meet the minimum requirements outlined here below to apply for Undergraduate GRZ Student Loans for the 2025/2026 Academic Year at Chalimbana University.

Eligibility

Applicants should be:
(i) Zambian with Green National Registration Card (NRC)
(ii) School leavers admitted to Chalimbana University for the 2025/2026 academic Year
(iii) School leavers who completed Grade 12 in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024
(iv) 26 years old or below by September, 2025

How to Apply for HELSB Undergraduate GRZ Student Loans 2025/2026 At Chalimbana University

Applicants should submit the following:
a) An application letter responding to the advertisement;
b) A photocopy of the 2025/2026 academic year Admission Letter from Chalimbana University;
c) A photocopy of Grade 12 Statement of Results or Certificate;
d) A photocopy of the candidate’s NRC and Parent’s/Guardian’s NRC;
e) One (01) recent passport size photo;

The loans are limited and scaled down according to the level of support required. Applicants should, therefore, indicate in their application the level of loan required. However, the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board reserves the right to determine the actual level of the loan. Loans are awarded according to the board’s financial capacity and, therefore, admission into the university does not necessarily guarantee the applicant a GRZ student loan. Applicants are, however, advised to submit any documents that support their application.

The total award of student loans for Chalimbana University is Two Hundred and Seventy (270) and has been categorized as follows: 100% – 55 slots, to applicants who are able to show proof of vulnerability, 75% – 80 slots, 50% – 75 slots and 25% – 60 slots.

• The student loan is not transferable from one University to another. Students wishing to apply for the loan should, therefore, be clear in their applications.
