Botswana 2025 Cambridge Exams Registration: Private Candidate Guide for IGCSE, O/A Levels & Checkpoint . Botswana Examinations Council would like to inform prospective candidates that registration for the Cambridge University Press and Assessment 2025 OCTOBER Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, GCE O level and AS/A Level examination will commence on 06 June 2025.
Available centres are Gaborone – AA920 and Francistown – BW 420.

BEC will not accept any registration nor payment made after the stated deadline of 22 August 2025.
NB: As an alternative to cash or POS, payment can be made by electronic transfer or ATM deposit and proof of payment provided during registration.

HOW TO APPLY FOR ACCESS ARRANGEMENT
The submission deadline of applications for Access Arrangements for External Exams (2025 October Secondary Checkpoint, IGCSE, GCE O level and AS/A Level examination) is 21 July 2025. Candidates are encouraged to adhere to the deadline to avoid being disadvantaged and to allow BEC time to process applications and give feedback on time as some applications may or may not be successful following their review.
An application is complete when it comprises of:
a signed and completed application form
a diagnostic assessment report
The above documents should both be received at BEC before the stipulated deadline of 21 July 2025.
Candidates should apply directly to the BEC, the documents guidelines and application forms, may be accessed from the BEC website. It is important that the correct procedure is followed when applying for Access Arrangements. Complete applications should be submitted to BEC (Records Management Unit) or sent via email to [email protected]
Whilst every effort will be made to cater for all applicants, BEC regrets that applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
